Narnia Entry #1

The magician’s nephew is one of my favorites form the Narnia series, right behind the lion the witch and the wardrobe. It just seems so practical, and by practical I mean that any young kid could seamlessly transport themselves to a faraway make believe land where one could spend hours upon hours at. One of my favorite parts in the Magicians Nephew comes when Digory returns to the world with the apple from Narnia to give to his mother. Once Digory pulls the apple out of his pocket all the colors hail I comparison to the color of the apple, once Digory leaves he notices the same thing with the other colors of the world. Now, while this book is not allegorical, I could not help but think about when God passed by Moses and all that was seen by Moses was the behind of God the purity and wholesomeness was so powerful that Moses then had to wear a vail as to not stun people with the glow he had received from something so small much like the apple from Narnia.
