Outside Reading Entry #2: The Exodus
I find that most of my pondering on scripture of recent has been on the Exodus narrative and the general life of Moses. I find that the exodus is so intriguing and powerful and leaves me in awe of the power and compassion that God shows his people. When I think about trials and tribulations that one may go through I lean into the truth of the Exodus and that God is just and upright and will do what is right for his people and for the world. The truth of the gospel as a whole is embedded heavily in the exodus when one thinks about how God is willing to go to great lengths to save the people he loves.
Let the exodus be a beacon of hope in your life a believer because whether what doors seem opened or closed, God is to work through that and the results may be variant, but the truth of the gospel lives within God's saving power seen in the Exodus.
