Personal Entry #1: Would We Believe A Perfect World

"Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed that we lacked the programming language to describe your "perfect world". But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. So, the perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from."

The above quote is from the Matrix. The original first movie, not the dumb second and third ones. This quote illustrates an interesting point. If one day we woke up and for the entire day everything went perfectly. There was no traffic. You weren't tired. You didn't have to work for anything. Would you even believe you were really awake? I would guess that we have become so atuned to the suffering around us that if it were gone, something would feel off.
