Personal Entry #2

Today marks the beginning of December (well for the time I am writing this it does but the time some of you may read this it may be somewhat passed as I don’t have access to the blog yet). For warning this is not a happy blog post but I just wanted to put my feelings out there on this subject for once instead of holding them in, so feel free to click away I promise the next personal entry will be a much easier read. SO to start off December is a very hard month for me, as it marks the birth month of my close friend Endicott Ackerman, Endicott and I grew up in a small town of Clifton Virginia, he was a year older than me but 2 years old of me in terms of grade. We were the closest of friends all the way up until 5th grade when I moved away from my home to Richmond Virginia. Worst day of my life. Endicott and I kept in contact and would see each other frequently during the summers and sometimes winters. When it was time for Endi to go to college he chose to study at Sydney university in Sydney Australia. He would have graduated last year… but 2 years ago he went for a swim off Bondi beach, he was shortly consumed by the rough waves and strong tides, he was declared missing until his body was found washed up on the shore. Endi was my best friend and always will be, but December is and always will be a hard month for me, I would give anything to hear one of his stupid sarcastic jokes or throw the football with him in my front yard but I know he is in a better place now looking down on me and I sure hope I am making him proud.
