Personal Entry #3

Alright so I promised a happier personal entry so here y’all go a little peak into my personal life yet again. This weekend was an exciting one, I was able to go home in an attempt to sell my truck (still for sale by the way so if you’re interested leave me a comment). Oh boy is this a good story to be told, so I have my truck posted on current sites as well as having my father talk to his friends to see if anyone is interested, well this weekend we had a potential buyer. I left school and headed back to Richmond to go to a dealership to have my car detailed so that it was presentable (usually I would do this myself but it seemed a bit cold so I decided to take it somewhere) well turns out the dealership was packed and they wouldn’t be able to get to my truck till Sunday. So Saturday morning I rolled out of bed at 6:30 made a cup of coffee contemplated if this was really worth it and headed outside to clean and detail my car in 40-degree weather. Now the cleaning process wasn’t too terrible and I got through it but here’s where the story gets good. I drive to the meeting spot and wait for the guy who is interested in buying the car. The guy finally pulls up and who steps out is the stereotypical guy who would want a truck like mine and I’m thinking to myself oh perfect I’ve got this sale in the bag no chance he doesn’t buy it. Long story short the guy gets back in contact with me and tells me that he’s” gonna have to pass” because he wants something with better gas mileage and he’s looking at Priuses so the lesson learned from this weekend is to not judge a book by its cover.
