Personal Journal #2

Within the world of Wolfenstein: The New Order, progress has been made within the game world and the resistance has been united and presented a base of operations. A forgotten about notch within the sewer system acts as the groups home for the time being. Interesting enough, it is directly under a statue in which the perfection of man, who is roughly 30 stories tall, saluting the Furher in a demonstration of power and the assertion of correction among the Nazi regime. This to me is an example of an improper myth, a lie, told as truth gone completely awry. The entire Nazi regime is built upon the assertion that the Aryan man is of the better yet though the game, a first-person shooter, the protagonist, not a German man, single handily is killing Nazi solders in droves and showing the moral correctness as to not implicate the innocent. By showing the truth in “real life” one would think that citizens would see the lie for what it is, yet citizens of the regime hold the assertion that Aryan is indeed better. This leads to gravitas in the claim, “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Made by Adolf Hitler all those years ago.
